After many months of development, Lonestar Truck Group has begun piloting KwikParts, an online parts application, with select customers.  KwikParts enables customers to tap into LTG's parts inventory to get real-time availability and pricing.

"Our customers are telling us consistently and persistently that they want an easier way to buy parts from us.  Too often our phones are busy resulting in delay and frustration for the customer.  KwikParts will allow our customers to purchase parts quickly and efficiently, without the telephone and without having to be a parts expert," said Dan Stevens of Lonestar Truck Group.

What is CSA 2010?

CSA - Compliance, Safety, Accountability reengineers the former enforcement and compliance process to provide a better view into how well large commercial motor vehicle carriers and drivers are complying with safety rules, and to intervene earlier with those who are not. Rolled out in December 2010, the program establishes a new enforcement and compliance that will utilize the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) resources, and those of its State enforcement partners, more efficiently and effectively, making the roads even safer for everyone.

Effective Monday, February 20th, customers traveling North on Interstate 35 will need to take an alternate route to reach Waco Freightliner.  The Meyers Lane exit (340) on Northbound I-35 will be closed due to road construction.  This closure is expected to last 10-14 days.

Customers will need to take the Lake Shore exit (339) and travel approximately 1.5 miles on the frontage road to reach the dealership during this time.

Ramming Paving Company recently purchased ten of the new 114SD Freightliners equipped with the Seven Axle Ox Superdump Bodies from the Lonestar Truck Group dealer in Temple, Texas.  With this configuration they can haul the same carrying capacity as the tractors with belly dump trailers but are more versatile in the jobs that they can perform because of their maneuverability.
